| Abstract: | La utilización de la fundición nodular, ha estado en continuo crecimiento desde su descubrimiento en los 1940’s, [1] debido a sus excelentes propiedades mecánicas, a la transformación de su microestructura mediante los tratamientos térmicos, a su fácil obtención y a su bajo costo. Siendo un material atractivo para diferentes aplicaciones en la construcción de piezas se han desarrollado alrededor de estas numerosas investigaciones tanto a nivel de producción como a nivel de aplicaciones mismas. Estas fundiciones pueden producirse con técnicas de fusión simples con unas excelentes propiedades de fluidez a unos costos relativamente bajos, lo cual facilita la fabricación de piezas delgadas y complejas |
