Abstract

Resumen: El presente trabajo es una investigación que pretende conocer la aplicabilidad y vigencia de la Ingeniería Industrial y de una de sus ramas que es la Ingeniería de Métodos y tiempos, para ello como en cada problema investigativo se plantea la situación actual de un profesional en Ingeniería Industrial y como es su proceso y preparación para afrontar las necesidades reales de la industria. Para ello se investiga sobre el origen de la Ingeniería industrial tanto en un contexto nacional como de región, específicamente en Antioquia, se hace necesario también dejar el registro investigativo de las tendencias que se habla para la ingeniería industrial y conocer según algunas fuentes teorías y saberes de los cuales debe conocer y formarse para afrontar el mundo actual y cuál también de los saberes van quedando obsoletos. Lo antes mencionado es solo la parte investigativa que proviene de fuentes secundarias y otras investigaciones y publicaciones, pero luego para dar respuesta al problema investigativo se procede a obtener información como por ejemplo; se hace un síntesis de las ofertas académicas de las universidades de Medellín donde se identifica en cuáles de los perfiles se contempla la ingeniería de métodos y tiempos, y la otra parte es conocer las actualidades y saberes que se están dictando en las diferentes academias.

Abstract: The present work is a research that seeks to know the application and the validity of the Industrial Engineering and its branches that is the Engineering of Methods and Times, for which, each investigative problem arises the current situation of a professional in Industrial Engineering and how is its process and preparation to face the real needs of the industry. To do this, it investigates the origin of industrial engineering in a national context as well as a region, specifically in Antioquia. It also needs to leave the investigative record of the trends that are spoken for industrial engineering and the knowledge of some sources of theories and knowledge. which must know and train to face the real world and also the knowledge are becoming obsolete. The aforementioned is only the research part that comes from secondary sources and other research and publications, but then to respond to the research problem, you can obtain information such as; a synthesis of the universities of the universities of Medellín is made where the engineering of methods and times is considered in the place of the profiles, and the other part is to know the realities and the knowledge that they are dictating in the different academies.
