Abstract
Abstract In this context, this master's thesis focuses on the exploration and analysis of the relationships between innovation, performance and organizational competitiveness in SMEs in the textile sector; focusing especially on two regions such as: the cities of Moroleón-Uriangato, Guanajuato, Mexico, and the Aburrá Valley, Colombia, in order to understand how these variables interact in different geographical and economic environments. Given the above, our research question is: How does innovation and organizational performance jointly impact competitiveness in textile SMEs located in the city of Moroleon-Uriangato, Guanajuato, Mexico and the Aburrá Valley, Colombia? To answer this question, three specific objectives are formulated: to establish the relationship between innovation, performance and organizational competitiveness, to test the model by applying statistical validation techniques that allow the confirmation of the assumptions used, and finally, to evaluate a scenario in relation to innovation, organizational performance and the influence they have on the competitiveness of SMEs in the textile sector.
